About
One God One Message is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving all people who believe in the one and only unseen God, believe in the Hereafter, and strive to lead a righteous life. Our vision is to help bridge the gap between followers of various faiths and traditions, build a united online community of monotheistic believers, and promote charitable activities. We believe that the scriptures of the monotheistic Traditions share one core message:
- Devote all worship to the one unseen God.
- Be certain of the Hereafter.
- Lead a righteous life.
Our hope is that emphasizing this shared core message, while recognizing the diversity of religious teachings and traditions, will foster greater unity among believers.
This site lets those scriptures speak for themselves. Every verse is shown in its original language and script, beside a translation, with its source and license. We do not interpret the verses or rank Traditions. Where we add a note, it gives facts about the verses, never an opinion about its meaning.
What you will find here
- Verses from the scriptures of several Traditions, grouped by the three themes of the core message.
- Comparisons that place verses from different Traditions side by side on one theme.
- A blog with occasional articles from our Editors.
The site starts in English. We plan to offer it in several languages, each checked by volunteer native speakers.
We hope to open an online community where believers can meet and talk with one another. Until then, you can sign up for our Newsletter, suggest verses from your Tradition, or offer to help translate the site into your language through our contact form.
How we work
The site is free to read, with no advertising and no tracking. We collect as little information as we can; see our Privacy Policy. We do not ask for or accept donations. The site is built and run by a small team of volunteers.
