Our own text

Unless marked otherwise, the text written by One God One Message is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). That covers pages, blog posts, interface text, the Core Message statements, the site tagline, verse context notes and comparison introductions.

You may share and adapt it, including commercially, if you:

  • credit “One God One Message, OneGodOneMessage.org”;
  • link to the license;
  • share your adaptation under the same license.

Scripture texts

Scripture texts are not covered by our license. Each original text and each translation keeps its own license and attribution, listed below and shown beside every verse.

  • Machine translations of scripture are made from a named English translation, never from the original. They carry that translation’s license conditions: for example, share-alike stays share-alike.
  • Verses drawn from texts licensed for non-commercial use only may not be reused commercially, even though our own text may be.
